There was a long lineup for Bruce MacKinnon’s book signing, following the opening reception for his exhibition, "Prime Suspects" now showing in the J. Franklin Wright Gallery. The opening was held this past weekend at the Civic Centre in Port Hawkesbury.

Several audience members had questions for Bruce MacKinnon during the opening reception for his exhibition, “Prime Suspects.” The exhibit runs until February 17, 2019.
The “Prime Suspects” exhibition features all 23 of the men and one woman who have held the title Prime Minister. Bruce MacKinnon spent a great deal of time researching his subjects before beginning his caricatures.
From Sir John A. Macdonald to current Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, the art reflects the political history of the time as well as their personalities.
After the exhibition was declared open, people were invited to view Bruce MacKinnon’s group of caricatures in the J. Franklin Wright Gallery.

Following the opening reception for his exhibition, Bruce MacKinnon had a book signing session for several people. The book features Mr. MacKinnon’s caricatures of all 23 Canadian Prime Ministers.
