Busy March Break at Reaching Strides Equestrian Centre

The March Break Riding Camp at Reaching Strides Equestrian Centre saw a whole lot of youth visit the Port Hood-based facility.

PORT HOOD: The March Break Riding Camp at Reaching Strides Equestrian Centre ran from March 18-20, and the local group had 20 riders on both Monday and Tuesday and 17 on Wednesday.

Riders came from all over the Maritimes, with some as far away as Sherbrooke, St. Peter’s, Cheticamp, Baddeck, Sydney, Antigonish, and Halifax.

“It was a fantastic successful three days with loads of fun,” said owner Nadine Bollig. “Riders enjoyed lessons under saddle, in ground work, stable management and even got to enjoy some wagon rides.
