BREAKING: Cocaine, dextroamphetamine, oxycodone, marijuana seized

PORT HASTINGS: Two people were arrested for drug trafficking earlier this week.

At approximately 3 p.m. on October 30, members of the Inverness District RCMP conducted a traffic stop in Port Hastings. A 43-year-old man from Halifax and a 39-year-old woman from Glendale were arrested. Police seized cocaine, marijuana, dextroamphetamine, oxycodone, and drug paraphernalia following the arrests.

Both individuals were released from custody and are facing four charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and are scheduled to attend Port Hawkesbury Provincial Court on December 18.
