March 13 was a big day at the Port Hawkesbury Branch of Eastern counties regional library as the Discovery Centre took its mobile planetarium to town. Kara MacPhee holds the door to allow youth inside the Discovery Centre’s mobile planetarium.

The Discovery Centre’s planetarium offered local kids an opportunity to see the constellations and have a very knowledgeable host like Kara MacPhee give them a guided view of the night sky.
Local youngsters are seen here exiting the Discovery Centre’s planetarium. The planetarium was set up at the SAERC Auditorium, right next to the Port Hawkesbury Branch of Eastern counties regional library. The library was the official host.
