Goalie Ellis called up to Screaming Eagles

SYDNEY: Cape Breton Screaming Eagles general manager and head coach Marc-Andre Dumont announced on October 24 that 16-year-old Cape Breton West Major Midget goaltender Colten Ellis has been called up.
Ellis appeared in eight games with the Islanders this season, recording an impressive 8-0 record in goal while posting a 1.48 goals against average, a .940 save percentage, and recorded two shutouts.
The native of Whycocomagh was drafted by the Screaming Eagles in the fourth round, 59th overall, at the 2016 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft and participated at the Eagles 2016 training camp before being reassigned to the Islanders.
