PETIT DE GRAT: It looks like the Richmond Amateur Baseball Association (RABA) championship series will be decided this weekend, granting Mother Nature plays ball.

The fourth game is scheduled for this Friday (September 15) at 7 p.m. and game five (if needed) will be played on Saturday (September 16) at 2 p.m. Both outings will be played at the Petit de Grat field.

The Hawks lead the series 2-1, so the reigning champs are poised to take their fifth consecutive league championship, should they pull the trigger on Friday. A Petit de Grat win would extend the series to five games and give the Red Caps the possibility of winning the championship.

Winning was the order of the day for the Red Caps last Sunday, as Jeremy Samson pitched a 7-3 win for Petit de Grat. Maurice Boudreau went one-for-three with two walks and two RBIs. Justin Delorey had a big game for the Hawks, with three singles and some good work on the mound.

The Hawks took game one 9-3 and game two 16-13.
