PORT HAWKESBURY: The RCMP is investigating thefts that have occurred from vehicles in the town.

At 5 a.m. on January 30, Port Hawkesbury RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious person entering unlocked vehicles. Police tracked footprints belonging to the suspect from the Grants Pond area to the Rose Street area of Port Hawkesbury but could not locate the individual. The RCMP is reminding the public to keep their vehicles locked and to remove any valuables.
