Robert Joseph Patrick Fraser 68 of Port Hawkesbury and formerly of Mulgrave passed away after a brief illness on January 26, 2018 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax;  born in Antigonish, he was a son of the late Vince and Florence (Connolly) Fraser. Bob was a lifelong member of St. Lawrence Parish Mulgrave and was employed with the Town of Mulgrave for over 25 years, his day was not complete until he visited Tim Horton’s, and will be remembered for his sense of humor. He enjoyed spending his evenings taking in a Bingo Game or playing a game of cards. He is survived by his wife Patricia (Delorey), son Charles, Port Hawkesbury; daughters Catherine (Dean) DeGruchy, Frankville; Rita (Mark) Temple, Bishop’s Falls NL grandchildren Jacob, Luke, Chloe and Lucy; brother Jack(Dolly), Dartmouth; Xavier “Frank”, Canso; sisters Margaret(Almon)Chisholm, Port Hawkesbury; Genevieve “Jenny” Malcolm, Dartmouth and Petra (Sonny) Power, Mulgrave, Mother in law Charlotte E. Delorey along with many nieces and nephews and his cat Flash. He was predeceased by sisters Catherine and Rita, brother in law, Gerald Malcolm and father in law, Charles Delorey.  Resting in the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, visitation took place on Monday from 2-9 pm; Funeral Mass  took place Tuesday at 2 pm from St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Mulgrave with Rev. Allan MacPhie presiding; burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
