MATTIE SETTLEMENT: The RCMP and the Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a fire at a property in Antigonish County which took place last weekend.
On March 4, at 4:18 a.m., Antigonish District RCMP, along with the Tracadie and Havre Boucher Volunteer Fire Departments, responded to a suspicious fire on Simon Mattie Road. A shed containing an ATV was damaged, but no one was hurt.
Antigonish District RCMP is investigating the matter and is being assisted by members of the Street Crime Enforcement Unit, RCMP Forensic Identification Services, and the Office of the Fire Marshal.
