East Hants Penguin Evan McHenry and Strait Pirate Callum Jordan go into the corner during the first period of last Friday’s game at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre. At that point, the Pens led 1-0 but the Pirates rebounded to win 4-3 in a shoot-out. It was a big win for the first place Pirates, given the Penguins are the number two team in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.
