Special weekend for Novas

Photo by Alex Van de Sande John Michael Kennedy was the guest of honour last Saturday as the Nova Major Bantams hosted The ACA Rangers at the Antigonish Arena. The Nova Major Bantams were playing their “Wear It for Wishes” game in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. Money raised from the game will go toward making Kennedy’s wish come through. He’s 16-years old and living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The dollar total is now at $2,200 but the Novas are selling Subway Discount Cards for the next couple of weeks and hoping to double that number.
