Gloria Gerroir, well-known for her skill with knitting needles and a bit of wool, was looking forward to Christmas like everyone else visiting the annual holiday bonanza.Three-dimensional art was the offering made by Violet Bonin (left) and Muriel Samson at the D’Escousse Civic Centre. The ladies were all smiles on Saturday.Llachlan Leavitt of Pebble and Fern Market Garden had loads of locally-created offerings for those visiting the annual holiday excitement in D’Escousse.The annual Christmas Holiday Bonanza in D’Escousse was made festive thanks to the good grub offered by people like Shelia Britten.Gloria Hayes (left) and Catherine Tatten had loads of items on the table to help brighten the holidays.She started with twenty-five pies but, by 11 am or so, Patsy Dorey-Boudreau was ready to fire up the oven in order to replenish her supplies – as most of the ones she started with were long gone.Offering books and framed photos at the annual holiday bonanza was Wally Ellison, who can also be read weekly in The Reporter.Stacey Seymour and her daughter Jensen were offering those visiting the D’Escousse Civic Improvement Centre all sort of Scentsy products, some of which included wickless candles, scented fragrance wax for electric candle warmers, and scented natural oils and diffusers.Making her own Christmas bulbs was Karen Johnson, one of the venders spotted in D’Escousse last Saturday.The crowd was elbow-to-elbow last Saturday in D’Escousse.Tasty treats were available for those visiting the D’Escousse Civic Improvement Centre last weekend.It might have only been November 19, but the holiday spirit was in the air in D’Escousse.
