National Immunization Awareness Week, shared Dr. Ryan Sommers, one of the lead of public health doctors within Nova Scotia Health, is about two things: a way to remind people of all ages to make sure they are up to date on immunizations; and a chance to emphasize the importance of vaccines in everyday lives.
