‘Start Up Port Hawkesbury’ offers great opportunities

The executive director of the Eastern Strait Regional Enterprise Network (ESREN), John Beaton, spoke at the March 7 regular meeting of Port Hawkesbury Town Council to outline a contest designed to give an aspiring entrepreneur a rent-free start-up space within the town for a two-year period.

A contest for new businesses has the potential to not only help entrepreneurs but improve the local ecomomy.
