Members of the Kujichagulia Youth Group performed for visitors at the Strait regional school board’s launch of African Heritage Month at the Afrikan Canadian Heritage and Friendship Centre in Guysborough on February 7. The students were led by St. Andrew’s Junior School teacher Morgan Gero. The group is made up of students in Grades 9 through 12 from St. Andrew’s Junior School and Dr. John Hugh Gillis Regional High School.
