The Antigonish-area SOC is currently pressing for the feeder system’s five schools to remain open, and is slated to deliver its final recommendation to the board before March 26.
ANTIGONISH: The committee reviewing the future of five schools in the Town of Antigonish and western Antigonish County wants all of these buildings to remain in operation, but this scenario will require the approval of the Strait regional school board (SRSB), as well as the purchase of a local P3 school by the provincial government….
