Council hears from Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue

The project helps protect vulnerable populations - such as children with autism, or people with dementia - from becoming lost in the woods.

INVERNESS: Inverness Municipal Council, holding its regular monthly meeting at the Inverness Fire Hall, was asked for a slight increase in terms of its funding for Strait Area Ground Search and Rescue (SAGSR). Tony Sampson, who serves as treasurer of the group as well as search manager, made a presentation to the six-person council unit….
