BEECH HILL: At the end of the committee of the whole meeting, prior to the municipality’s regular council meeting, Councillor Harris McNamara asked council to forgive Let Antigonish Decide’s court fees. The motion, which would have forgiven approximately $8,000 was defeated. The $8,000 payment, which was reduced from $65,000 has since been paid in full….
