To facilitate the construction of a new 55-unit housing development, the Town of Port Hawkesbury is considering selling some municipal land at less than market value. The buildings that once housed the Port Hawkesbury Arena (also known as the MacIsaac Memorial Arena) and the Port Hawkesbury Lions Den are part of a possible sale from the town to New Dawn Enterprises and the At Home Housing Association.
