Members of the Lafford family were driving home to Wagmatcook in the middle of the night last month when Mike Lafford noticed lights in his rear-view mirror down an embankment. He turned around and returned to find a tractor trailer had plowed off Trans Canada Highway 105 and the driver was still in the crushed cab.
