Sudden death determined to be ‘non-criminal in nature’

ANTIGONISH: On May 8, just before 5 p.m. Antigonish District RCMP was called to the scene of a deceased man in Indian Gardens.

Investigators called the RCMP Northeast Nova Major Crimes unit to assist, and also called RCMP Forensic Identification Technicians to examine the scene. Today, the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service conducted an autopsy of the deceased man, a 66-year-old man from Antigonish.

The autopsy has confirmed that the circumstances of the death are non-criminal in nature.
